Yeshua Israel Ministries’ sole purpose is to glorify the God of  Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob by exalting Yeshua (Jesus) as Messiah of Israel.
Founded by Kobi (aka Jim) & Shani Ferguson in 2001, Yeshua Israel operates by a two-fold mandate. One side of the coin is our ministry to Israelis. We minister the Gospel of Yeshua the Messiah (Jesus Christ) to Israelis through evangelism, discipleship, and standing for issues of justice in the land.
How we are doing it:
As a couple, we have been ministering together to build the body of believers in Israel since 1999 through:
• Spreading the Gospel and winning souls by going to Israeli festivals, Holy day events, street evangelism, through the distribution of materials, and by everyday conversations with unsaved Israeli friends, store owners, neighbors and random encounters.
• Making disciples and small group ministry: We are working to disciple a team of dedicated young men and women and are hopeful that God will raise them up to be a new generation of warriors in the land of Israel.
• Producing various Gospel related projects such as a Hebrew version of the New Testament on CD with music soundtrack, and powerful DVD Hebrew Gospel messages which are handed out as tracks to the unsaved.
• Emphasizing training in evangelism, study and knowledge of the scriptures, and worship.
• Organizing “silent siege” events where primarily youth and young adults pray at clinics where abortions take place. We stand in the gap for the life of the unborn, against abortion and for revival and salvation to come to pregnant mothers.
Our second mandate is to contend for the salvation of Israel primarily through communicating to the Church world-wide God's word concerning His plan for the people of Israel . This plan includes the Church's role in this great harvest of souls in the land of Israel.
Our aim is to rally the troops in order to form a network of believers who develop and spread a passion for God's heart to save Israel and who will support believers in the land of Israel who are specifically laboring in the areas of evangelism and discipleship and justice issues by focused prayer and financial giving. To this end we have launched “Yeshua Israel Fellowship”, which exists to inflame, intercede, inform, and incite believers everywhere to contend for the salvation of Israel.
An important function of the Yeshua Israel Fellowship is the funding of the Gospel in Israel. We have created a fund which is used to directly finance evangelistic efforts and workers in Jerusalem and throughout Israel.
God's Salvation is complete and encompasses all areas of our existence. It is our goal to see Israelis not only "saved" from sin and it's consequences of an eternal hell, but to see them experience salvation from disease, sickness, depression, oppression, religion and much more!
